2 weeks agoNice spot. Beautiful trees and plenty of shade. Nice and quiet, however it is mid week, that may be a different story on weekends. Sites are a little close together but thats minor really providing you have respectful neighbours.

4 months agoMidway through a 4 week stay. Great spacious sites, ours has a side cement slab so no sand or dirt carried in to van. Laundry is good, amenities whilst older style are good and clean. Water pressure is good. Great winter rates and enjoying our stay. Staff very helpful when needed and park is tidy and relaxing. Access to several dog friendly beaches within 5 mins drive, shopping places the same and this week we discovered Tonic by the Bay restaurant/Cafe right by the beach....perfect.

4 weeks agoStayed here three nights mid week Oct 2024 being out of peak time. This caravan park is 6km out of town west from the main CBD. Ideal for us as we liked to ride our bikes to and from town and prefer the more laid back vibe that parks out of town provide. This park has fencing on all four sides with access to the park restricted via access card. A big reason we choose Lazy Days is due to fencing and security in place. The three C/parks located on Maritime Pde in town have no fencing at all on any side allowing unfettered public access throughout the parks with lack of security accompanying contemporary reports of thefts from camp sites. Lazy Days is a little older but none the less delivers all you need for caravanning as an adult couple without kids not needing the bells and whistles and accompanying prices. Our site was huge with lots of space around us. Toilets are functional and cleaned daily with good hot and cold water pressure. Pet friendly. Booking in was easy with friendly, polite and engaging front counter staff. This park has a mix of onsite accomodation and what appears to be a few permanent residents. Beach about a ten minute walk. Park lacks asphalt roads and gutters however not an issue for us. Happy to recommend and if budget conscious this will suit you fine. Stay well and travel safe.

a month agoA unique living with nature experience. Not your ordinary brick and mortar type hotel. A rustic style living but with decent amenities. Highly Recommended.👍

7 months agoLoved this campground. Nice large sites, large clean amenities (shower set up is a bit odd) but it works and the water is super hot and great pressure. Small laundry area, the machines work well. Washer is card operated and dryer is coin. Nice location, easy to walk to town along the beachfront path.
