a month agoSuch a wonderful hostel. You can tell so much thought has been put in to making every aspect really easy to live in. The beds are comfy and atmosphere so friendly and welcoming. Me and my partner stayed in a 6 person shared room and found everything to be absolutely perfect, from the sockets and night lights next to the beds, big lockers to keep things safe and out of the way and clean bathrooms. It was the perfect place to come back to after long days hiking around the blue mountains. Everyone who worked here was also so friendly and great at their jobs. Thank you ALL.

a month agoThe best place to stay in Katoomba. Great facilities, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. I was in a mixed dorm and the rooms were large and had lockers, everyone was really friendly in my room. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, and the common area next to the dining area has many games and activities. Just generally a really welcoming and pleasant environment. I left wishing I could stay longer. I’ve stayed in YHA places since I was young back in the UK, and they’ve always been really comfortable for me. I felt very much a home here. Thanks for the hospitality ❤️

a month agoVery basic accommodation but has everything you need! The building gives a vintage cozy mountain feel. There’s lots of games to entertain yourself with in the lobby. They have tons of local information. They do provide towels and sheets. Would recommend for the price!

2 months agoOne of the best hostel I stayed in Australia. The common space is huge. There are PS4, pingpong table, board games and cozy lounges to keep you entertained. Toilets and rooms are very clean. The staffs are also flexible to let us check out in the early morning so we can watch the sunset.

2 months agoI stayed in a dorm room with 7 others - there is a lot of room for improvement. The mattresses have seen better days and the facilities are all very dated - this isn't a huge problem. The bathrooms were not cleaned at all in the 3 days I stayed here. Someone had vomited outside the bathroom in the corridor on the carpet on the first day I stayed here and it was still there when I left 2 days later. The kitchen area is all -clean and tidy as you finish but there is no one to check this and so the cleanliness of the whole kitchen was poor. The fridges were awful. Great location for tourists but I wouldn't recommend to anyone I know.
