This is one of the creepiest rest stops I've ever seen. On the left (caravan and cars) is, what appears to be, an abandoned blue car and in the knee length grass two abandoned single person tents. On the right (trucks) is a collapsed silver tent and discarded items on the picnic table. I wouldn't even think of using the toilets, God only knows what could be waiting in there for you. It feels like someone is watching you and with thoughts of Balangalo State Forest in our thoughts we left..in a hurry.

Don't camp if there's only a couple of cars. Don't trust the blue station wagon permanent. Was knocked on at last light & then they hid. 2 cars parked on highway outside, one a yellow sports sedan type. People walking around them. Was followed by that car to Moruya, they cut their lights on the edge of town.

Usually plenty of parking. Long drop toilets! Lots of trees. Good place to stop for a culpa.
