3 weeks agoPerfect for a romantic getaway! We stayed in bellbird tents, not only are they stunning on the outside (especially when lit up at night) they are gorgeous on the inside, super clean - equipped with everything you need!! From a fan if it’s too hot, a heater if it’s too cold, a fridge and mini gas cooker - plus the use of a communal kitchen and toilet/shower block not to far away. The facilities are clean, mostly brand new and all staff are super lovely and helpful. Could not recommend this place enough - we will most definitely be back again one day!!

a month agoA gem. A tranquil, quiet and beautiful place we just love coming to with our kids. Not crowded and nature focused. Kids had a ball riding about on their bikes, watching the birds and roos, roasting marshmallows, visiting the chickens and getting very muddy in the water play at playground. The cabin was older but had been so beautifully and thoughtfully presented, it felt like home.

in the last weekTathra Eco Camp We were staying about and hour out of town, and were looking to move on. We were in the area and came here, before booking in, to have a look and decide if we wanted to stay for a day or two. We were warmly greeted at the office, and told we were welcome to have a look around, and they gave us a map and the code for their brand new amenities. We started our walk, but didn’t get far before we came across a few more staff, that were working on new cabins. They introduced themselves and told us more about the park, what they were doing, and plans for the future. After having a lovely walk around the park, and soaking up the relaxing ambience, we went and had a look at the amenities block. To be honest, we were beyond surprised. The ammenities are like something out of a home decorating magazine. The style and decorating have brought the bush landscape indoors, with luxurious appointments including a full sized, free standing bath, and rainwater shower heads. The camp kitchen, the name does not do it justice, has outdoor lounge suites under the veranda, along with BBQs and a sink. Inside, at one end, there are all the things you would expect to see in a catering kitchen. Stainless steel bench tops, two sinks, a food preparation island, two door fridge/freezer, large oven, microwave, dishwasher, zip instant hot water, along with appliances, and eating utensils. The other end has a large, well appointed, dining area, along with a work station bench, under bi-fold windows that make you feel like you’re outside. For those who need entertaining, there is also a large wall mounted tv in the dining area. We returned to the office, after about an hour, and booked to arrive in two days and stay for a week. We then went to their onsite cafe, near reception, and had lunch and a coffee. We arrived on the Monday, checked in and moved to our site, and the staff that we’d met previously came to welcome us back and wish us a great stay. Over the next five weeks, we made lots of friends, enjoyed the amenities, and attended a live performance by Gary Carson Jones, at the camp kitchen. Sadly, we did need to move on, but not without hugs all around from the staff that we’d made friends with while we were there. In the seven years that we have been on the road, this is the best park that we’ve stayed in. This includes the amenities, the large size of the sites, the wildlife, and most of all staff that work to make such a wonderful park for people to relax and enjoy. Special thanks to Tim and Carmen for their ongoing vision.

7 months agoThis place is very special and very beautiful. It is well set up with excellent camp facilities and lots of different cabins - something for everyone. We are in a spacious camp site there are kangaroos grazing and kookaburras laughing. We attended the cultural information session this morning which was excellent. The are beautiful touches all over the ground It has been thoughtfully reconstructed and prioritises the natural environment. I am loving it here. Great staff and great place to stay.
