a month agoWe enjoyed our long weekend stay at Rio Rita, the hosts were so lovely and accommodating. We camped with our friends and they were able to give us spots close to each other. Our kids had great time riding their scooters and bikes around the caravan park. The park and couple of beaches are all short minute walks. We were also able to visit the Sunday market in Batemans bay town. The showers and toilets are very well maintained and clean.

3 months agoThe worst customer service! Even though they knew we were arriving Sunday afternoon there was no-one there. There was a sign on the office door saying to text their number and they would allocate a site. We waited, we rang the number and no response, so we picked a site ourselves. Finally, 3 hours later, we got a text, but we stayed where we were. The whole 3 days we didn't see a soul except for other confused campers. Anyone could just drive in and camp and they wouldn't know. BTW barbecues were filthy.

7 months agoThe CP is older and has little to offer families with children (no pool, playground, games room), however, it is a perfect little park for couples, singles and families wanting to be by the beach without paying a fortune. Quiet and peaceful, the staff are lovely and friendly. The bathroom and laundry (although old and dated) are the cleanest we have used in over 12 months on the road. Well done to the staff who work hard to keep this park clean, fresh and well maintained.

8 months agoAmenities were below average and not clean. There was a shower running that could not be turned off. The microwave in the camp kitchen didn’t work. Reception was not staffed because she was too busy trying to do the cleaning. A permanent resident was rude to my husband in the bathroom area. There was a person just sitting around in the ladies bathroom. Don’t stay here. It’s like they are marking time until a developer buys the property.
