We shared the unpowered sites with friends for 4 nights. If you looking for a quiet and safe place to stay this is it. Like other reviews some of the facilities are basic, but more than adequate., clean and well maintained. Whilst we didn't use them, the drive through powered sites, covered in shade cloth were in excellent condition. If you want an underground experience, in rooms or your tent, you'll be well catered for. Jason's mine tour was very informative and Zoe's introduction, a scene stealer. Give this hard working family business a go.

As a first-time visitor to Coober Pedy, I was really excited about staying underground, and I saw on the website that there was a night tour available. However, when I arrived at the front desk, the staff’s attitude was cold and dismissive, as if they didn’t care whether we stayed or not. We booked an economy room for $75 for two people, expecting basic amenities, but the room only had a bed and walls, no power outlets to charge our devices, and no signal at all. We had to go to the TV room just to charge anything, which was never mentioned on the website, nor were we informed. We also had to find the Wi-Fi ourselves, which wasn’t explained either. We thought check-out at 10:00 meant simply cleaning up the room, but instead, after 10:00, we were basically kicked out and couldn’t even use the kitchen or bathroom. I’ve stayed in many campgrounds where even after checking out, you can still use the common kitchen and bathrooms, so this was quite unexpected. The staff were not polite at all, and I only felt like we were being pushed out. There were so many rules that were never explained upfront. The website made everything sound so nice, but once we stayed, it just felt like a scam. By the way, so many flies

A little out of the centre of Coober Pedy, Riba’s was what we needed it to be after a long drive. Facilities were clean and the sites where we camped well maintained. The kitchen and bathrooms were very basic but fine. The highlight of our stay was the mine tour offered every evening. Presented by the owner, it was very interesting and informative! This is where we would stop every time we go to Coober Pedy.

We Stayed in the Caravan park very well maintained. Toilets and showers were very clean a little dated but very clean. I think a little more lighting around the camp site, the camp kitchen could use a microwave, toaster. I also think a sink outside the laundry would be handy for wasting if you only have a few items. It would also be helpful if the water in the camp kitchen was a little hoter. The camp site was very well laid out with drive through access an extra bonus was the shade cloth pergola to park under. Jason gave a talk on mining Opals very interesting showed us a mine. We loved the fact that he included his little girl so cute full of beans. Really great Park has a lot to offer give it a go.
