a week agoSuch a beautiful spot- so peaceful. The amenities were clean and in good condition. Loved being right next to the river. Our only issue was that only one toilet block was open- the rest were locked which was fine as it was the one close to our site anyways. However at midday of our third day there that block was also locked leaving no bathrooms accessible. We were meant to stay that night but ended up going home early for other reasons but if we had stayed for the time we had booked and paid for I don’t know what we would have done with no accessible bathrooms.

2 months agoA wonderful pet-friendly getaway! The accommodation was spotless, and the amenities were well-maintained. Our stay had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable visit. We can’t wait to return for another stay!

7 months agoGreat location by the river. Unfortunately, there was a massive wasp problem. I reported the location of a nest, but nothing was done in the remaining 4 days we were there. Facilities are good at one end of the park but only one washing machine and dryer for a pretty big park. Rustic camp kitchen with great seating and good cooking facilities. We didn't see any park staff during the whole time and were unsure of how often facilities were cleaned. We enjoyed our base here while we explored the local area.

5 months agoThis is our first time camping at this fabulous site. The experience was great so we are planning to come back again. Nothing can describe the serenity of this beautiful place. Staff was kind and friendly. We arrived and checked in to the site little bit late but thanks to Stephen for accomodated us.
