a month agoHired a superior 2 bed cabin for 2 nights. Room was new and fresh, lovely coastal vibe throughout. The park had great amenities and even though the park was quite busy there was adequate space for all. Kids loved the splash park and swimming pools.

3 weeks agoCan't wait to go back! Amazing. So much for kids and adults alike. Swim up bar was my favourite! Water park for kids and fishing for dad. Pump track. Plus shops are really close.

a month agoAlthough all the 'star' rating categories are a 5, the overall score is definitely not a 5. We came expecting a kids club or supervised activity room was available in the holidays, to occupy the young ones while parents got some down time. There was nothing even close. The pool bar did not serve cocktails. It served canned cocktails, which isn't advertised. The pools were ridiculously cold, the website stated heated pools.. they definitely weren't heated. The 'swim up' pool bar was the only warm pool, so it was packed with little kids. It's also very small so it was jam packed. It poured while we were there, and the majority of the dryers were out of order. Lastly, the game room has so many completely RIGGED claw machines, and being the majority of 'arcade' games available, it's very expensive. It's a park with potential, but it's definitely not worth the money we paid and the distance we travelled. It was false advertising, to be honest. I'm not sure how long NRMA have owned it but spend some money on it guys, it needs it.

a month agoReception staff were so polite, bar staff great! Unfortunately the freezing pools & no heated spas were a complete let down. The cabin floor was really dirty. Escalated to staff, which were really apologetic. Over all .. our kids had a great time but would be even better with a heated pool are or spa.

2 months agoThis was our first trip to the Blue Dolphin and, whilst it was okay, we won’t be rushing back. One of our biggest disappointments was that the Kids Club was not operating, despite their website stating it runs in school holidays. We weren’t given any notification about this, and our kids were very disappointed- as were we, after wanting a little downtime. The park itself is okay, but definitely in need of an update, and the kids pools were freezing, which meant there was even less to do to keep them entertained. Most staff were friendly and helpful, but there were a few that were too lazy to simply pick up the phone to ask a question they didn’t know the answer to, which meant I had to investigate further myself. Overall, we still had an enjoyable week, but I think we could have had just as much fun at a park that cost half the price.
