Stayed at Nomads St Kilda for 4 nights and couldn’t recommend it more. If you’re looking for a lively and social hostel this is the one. The events run daily are always great fun, definitely recommend the pub crawl or bingo. Special mention to Anton who was a great host/bar man🤣 The rooms were very clean and comfy beds, and include an en suite bathroom. And also the free breakfast was amazee.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. Luke on reception was so welcoming when we arrived. The room was lovely and the facilities were top tier. Antony on the bar was a great host and made us feel included and looked after. Special shoutout to Sami on the door!

Great experience here during our 2 weeks stay! We rented a double-private room for the time we were looking for a flat to move in Melbourne, and everything went super smooth. The room and the private toilet were a bit small, specially with all the luggage that we bringed with us, but the service from everyone working there was perfect. They were very kind and helpful with everything that we needed, and the cleaning of the room was perfect. They have a common kitchen to be used for any person staying there. Its super complete (plenty of pans, cutlery, space to cook, etc), and it has a lot of space and fridges to leave your food there. Each person needs to wash any item that they use, of course, so be careful because apparently not everybody knows how to do the dishes... There is a bar there were we got free breakfast every morning, and each day of the week they organize events (billar day, trivial, bingo...), so you can have fun an socialize the whole week. The first day of our arrival, they send a taxi to pick us up at the airport, all included in out booking price, which was such a relief since taxis here are quite expensive and the location is far away from the airport (just 5 minst from St Kilda beach, is a very nice area). We are really satisfied with our choice and we highly recomment it to anyone that needs to temporally stay in Melbourne for the best price!

I was staying here for over a month, keeping to myself, working long hours then sleeping. Group of friends move into my room and alike many people that stay in hostels, assumed that disrespecting room-mates via noise through late hours any day of the week is justified. I told them to shut up etc etc, had some disagreements. Then they decide to tell management they don't like the way I talked to them in response to their blatant disrespect. Management did not consult me once about the situation, I simply found out last minute as I went to extend and right before I was leaving for work that I'm not allowed to extend due to this. It put me in a terrible situation they had 0 concern for or courtesy to prevent when they easily could have. Absolutely pathetic management and majority of the staff are young delinquents interested in partying only. If ignoramus and constant noise if your thing. Stay here
