a week agoRooms were tired and small, but absolutely functional and appropriate to the price. Actually perfect for a beach holiday where you're going to cover everything in sand. We had a fairly well equipped kitchen, and used it to cook some yummy meals. There's a tennis court and the kids can just roam around safely.

2 weeks agoIt is a good holiday park with easy access to a patrolled, drivable beach (one of the best beaches in Adelaide I am told), the toilets are clean and for a council-run caravan park it is awesome, the best I've been to. However, the reason why it loses a star, is because the sites are very close together, which isn't ideal when it is busy and most of the sites don't have any shade which make it really unpleasant to be outside at your site on hot days. It is a good park and I probably will be back, but it is probably better to go when it is less busy and when the weather is cooler. It could be a lot better if they spread the sites apart and planted more trees.

a month agoThere is absolutely nothing for the kids here. The camp grounds does have a tennis court, and that's it. Easy beach access, though. The kitchen is spacious, and the toilets are clean. Jam packed over the xmas holidays, so book in advance. We didn't use the service of the rooms, so I can't comment on the room, but they look nice from the outside. I want to give it a five star but struggle due to the fact that we found it hard to keep our 2½ year old entertainment.

3 weeks agoGreat beach location. Very good facilities. Friendly reception staff. $70pn powered site 2 people peak season. Two negatives..the constant road noise and revving cars etc going up and down onto beach across road. Realise that this is out of management control so not rating on that. Should be much quieter outside Peak periods. The other thing that Management could definitely improve is rubbish collection. At times all bins overflowing and in sun bit smelly . they request if overflowing campers take their own rubbish over to the skip bins other side park. ..sorry but that is your job to organise the bins to be emptied into the skip bin when needed. Overall recommended. Nice grassy sites.

a month agoThe Caravan Park staff are very friendly and helpful. Trevor the Gardener does a fantastic job and is always willing to have a chat. The amenities block could do with some renovations. In the 2 weeks we were there, the Showers hadn’t been cleaned, although the toilets were. The Police visit there often and every night you have the sound of cars hooning up and down the road.
