Killarney View Cabins & Caravan Park

We based ourselves at Killarney for a driving holiday and used the family cottage, which was well appointed and clean. Such a lovely quiet position the park is in, you couldn't ask for a more peaceful situation, very relaxing and well maintained. The hosts were fabulous and a source of local knowledge which helped our travels.

We recently stayed at Killarney View with our Caravan Group. We were in the pet friendly cabin which was terrific. Lovely fenced yard to side of cabin for pup to play and they even supplied dog bowls! The park is very clean and well appointed,great camp kitchen with BBQ,fire and pizza oven. Sites are a good size,some with fire pits. Having Kevin to help place vans on-site is an added bonus! It's very close to town and very friendly. Look forward to staying again.

We have stayed here before and had no issues however, we recently had a very disappointing experience which has now changed my opinion of this park. My mother, who was using a vehicle tent, a product widely available at many retailers, was denied accommodation as she planned sleep in her vehicle with her vehicle tent as an extension. The staff claimed this was illegal in Queensland, which is incorrect. According to the Brisbane Act 2010, sleeping in your vehicle is NOT illegal if within a campground, which this caravan park is, is it not? To make matters worse, my mother was met with rudeness and hostility upon arrival. She was given misinformation, and nowhere on their website did it state that sleeping in a vehicle with a vehicle tent was not permitted. The treatment she received was both disappointing and horrible. We expected a welcoming environment but were instead confronted with unnecessary hostility and incorrect information. I would recommend calling to double-check you can even camp with any equipment, as it seems they are quite fussy. The lack of information on their website makes it even harder. They need to update to include this information if they really don’t want this kind of camper (WHO ARE WILLING TO PAY!) Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this caravan park and will not be back.

Stayed in a cabin for two nights. Spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. The owners were very welcoming and helped me out with maps of the area to see the sights. Lovely little caravan park in a great location.

Just spent 4 nights this park and have NO complaints at all. Staff were very helpful , showers , towlets and surroundings were all maintained , Clean and in good working condition. This was our second stay in our C/Van and will definitely be going back. 👍👍👍
