2 months agoIs a bit out of town and a bit noisy with trucks going by. Didn’t keep us awake or disturb our sleep. Managed to get an ensuite site as we booked ahead. It was clean and adequate. Shame the exhaust fan runs so powerful - very cold to shower in during winter.

a month agoBeware ... Noise levels from Industrial surrounds is very ,very noisy. Squeaking machinery, truck noise, barking dogs . Probably the noisiest caravan park I've used . Amenities are basic and lighting is very poor. Seems to cater mostly to local workers/contractors so pretty rugged. Not for a peaceful time away.

4 months agoThe amenities are good. Staff friendly. But advertising this as a "quiet" park is highly deceptive. The park is situated alongside a major highway and was the noisiest park I have ever stayed in, in terms of transport noise. I have stayed in many parks adjacent to highways and understand there will be transport noise. This was way and above anything I have experienced, in my many years of travelling. Constant VERY loud noise of many big rigs passing, just at the point that they are using air brakes and changing up and down multiple gears. It was VERY loud, and relentless throughout the night. The camp has large semitrailers and big trucks travelling each side of it, being situated between the major highway on one side and a fueling route for local trucks on the other. On top of that, a very loud mechanical noise was coming from a machinery shed (?) next door for several hours throughout the early evening. The sound was louder than anything that could be called tolerable noise levels. If you want to sleep in this park, bring ear plugs. To repeat, the fact that this park advertises itself as 'quiet' is laughable.

a week agoWe were in an out overnight. Sites were great for drive through but being opposite Pacific Petroleum meant that we had trucks idling or rumbling past all night.
