2 months agoYou have to stay here! Originally we weren’t coming to drive out to Argyle, but we were tired from driving so much and needed somewhere to rest for a few days and this was unreal… The campground is huge, plenty of space, we parked up two coaster buses in the large oval area, lots of space for dogs, an epic view from our campsite, water tap on every site so we could have a rinse off and the dogs as well, the hike down to the lake is unreal, we took some standup paddle boards out and the water was beautiful. Go into the bar with a drink bottle and ask for some ice, and there’s a cold water tap to refill your bottles all day long, the one thing we needed when it was above 40 degrees out there was ice cold water. Thank you guys for such a great visit and making this campground a comfortable and enjoyable visit.

3 months agoReally wonderful set up , well layed out ,we had a nice short visit .Unfortunately I have a little bit of a problem with the hard timber seats, I am sure older people prefer a little bit of a comfort. Our meal and drinks were okay and not to expensive, the people on the reception really must understand the English language. Our helicopter ride although brief was just fantastic, the area is spectacular.,we may return sometime soon.

3 months agoMost amazing caravan park. The infinity pool and the view are incredible. And some good walks nearby to see even more views of the lake and river. Staff are super friendly. It is a very busy park. Live music in the evenings.

a month agoOur room was really grubby, even a used woman's pad left in bathroom cupboard, biscuits left on floor under table and on lounge. Stayed in room 3.2. Checkin woman wasn't really forthcoming in friendliness and helpfulness. She was training a new lad who appeared extremely intimidated by her, but later, when he was away from her he was smiling and very friendly. Chef was 10/10. Steaks were cooked perfectly. Restaurant looked very basic bordering on ugly ! Friday 6th Dec Staying 2 nights. Stunning super clean pool. Bed would have to be the best bed I've ever slept on 10/10 Views were out of this world. Great place to stay, but considering not many people were here at this time, the woman at the checkout had no reason to be unfriendly.

2 months agoI would highly recommend the Lake Argyle Sunset Cruise! We learned so much and saw so much of that giant inland waterway! Thanks Jack and Scotty for such a memorable experience! You guys rock! Unfortunately, we were put under quite direct lighting at the park so we had to zip everything up to sleep which meant for a hot, sleepless evening. The infinity pool, however, is a beautiful addition to the property and the facilities are clean and sparkly and the bar is brilliant. The reception service was also excellent!
