Loved our stay at Woodman Point. What was meant to be a week long stay turned into a 2+ month long haul. The park surroundings are beautiful with so much to do and see. I have much admiration for their lovely staff and management, who really have their jobs cut out for them, with such a large park and the looming housing crisis creating a diverse range of good and not so good visitors to the park. Would happily recommend the park to family and friends and will look forward to visiting again in the future.

Booked in to be with a friend arriving 29/11/24 and leaving 2/11/24. This was a regular weekend, not a public holiday weekend/school holiday. Explicitly mentioned when booking to put next to our friends campsite. TLDR: was not put next to friends campsite, despite the site opposite being available all weekend đź‘Ž Upon arrival we were assigned site #174, my friends were site #146, we're not together and calling it a grassed site is a loose use of the term, site #174 was a sandpit in full sun. Most other sites have trees for shade. Ask to be relocated closer to friends, mention the site opposite #131 is empty. Apparently they are fully booked in the best they can do is #139. This site gets afternoon shade at least đź‘Ť Two toilets in the men's, but toilet paper in one is out all Saturday, and all weekend we had to enjoy the sounds of electronic beeping, repeating every 10 seconds. Please fix whatever that is. Despite being fully booked two sites nearby were never used. #131 opposite my friends, and #138 which was in full shade all day. Why couldn't we have used #131?

This place is at a prime location. Great for kids with the bouncy pillow and playground, plenty of room for the kids to explore, Although THEFT is a common thing at this caravan park, happening multiple times per week. Low life outsiders that don’t stay there have an easy get away down the path towards the beach or out the back thru the scrub on your bike at night time. A text message is sent to warn campers of theft, but unfortunately it doesn’t cut the mustard. Our bikes were chained up, but we’re stolen, waking up to a cordless angle grinder at 2am cutting the chain off and stealing what was not there’s No, Not the caravan parks fault, but the lack of effort to do anything to minimise theft here is disappointing. Unwelcome guests can come and go at any hour of the night and nothing has been done to stop this. There are no cameras, no gates, there is no responsibility held. If you want to keep to your belongings, i would avoid staying here. SORRY

Currently homeless with my kids and thought we could stay here in a camper van borrowed from friends. It was pouring rain the morning we were meant to check out. No compassion from some reception staff. I was rudely spoken to and felt fobbed off. We've had to stay at a few places recently and I've not been treated so poorly as I was today. We are going through enough, a little understanding would have been appreciated.

I think people expect too much from van parks, reading previous reviews, this park is a little pokey for a large van, but not impossible, check van size before you book. Clean and well presented and the amenities were not found lacking in any way. Close proximity to cabins, the noise levels from revellers was a little annoying, but not a killer issue. If I hade a gripe, it would be some of the trees need a trimming, in particular where they impede the use of an awning. For our stay the location was spot on as jump point for our touring.
