2 weeks agoNot bad, but not really good. The floor is sticky. It has a stain that looks like they didn't clean it thoroughly. But other than that, we had fun. And the staff is really friendly

4 months agoNice place to stay! Great views overlooking the sea, get in early to request the rooms with the views. Plenty of accommodation types to choose, camping & caravan to small 1/2 cabin for a overnight bed right up to deluxe 2 bedroom cabins with great decks & views. Very clean & my choice to stay when next visit occurs. Park has playground, jumping pillow (fenced off area for safety) + the regular laundry, kitchen etc...

2 weeks agoWe stayed at powered waterfront site #151 for 2 nights. 5-star location. Whyalla Beach is right in front of you, the jetty and foreshore walk in town can be accessed by a short 10 min walk down the beach. Laundry facilities include washers (cold water only) for $4 per wash. $1 and $2 coins can be used. There are ample dryer lines outside for your wash to be hung. BYO pegs. There is a small camp kitchen, it was clean when we visited. There is a large oven, a microwave and a clean sink in the indoor camp kitchen, there is a covered eating area and outdoor BBQs. In all, a great option for camping and beach activities.

2 months agoStayed for a night on a beach front site. In the morning, we woke up to find my son's bike missing. Called reception to request a late checkout to organise a new bike, and they could only give us an hour and a half before we had to leave. I posted about the stolen bike on the local community groups, and there were so many responses that this happens regularly at this particular caravan park. The management don't seem to care as they have taken no obvious action to warn guests or install cameras. Silver lining the Whyalla community offered to pitch in for a new bike and a very generous person gifted my son a bike. The sites are also very small and close together with no grey water drainage. We did not fit on the site we were allocated and had to park our car on another vacant bay.
