2 weeks agoWe stayed in this wonderful park for just one night, but we had a great time! The park is clean and well-maintained. There is plenty of space for parking caravans and motorhomes. Everything is well thought out. The laundry and facilities are in excellent condition. The staff is very friendly. We didn't expect to enjoy this park so much! I definitely recommend it.

a month agoOver the last 4 years I've spent almost an entire year at Discovery Parks Rockhampton. Staff have always been fantastic and whenever something has been needed they've been happy to help. Rooms have been great. The studio rooms are good for singles or a couple. There is a stove and microwave and while you won't be cooking a gourmet meal you'll be able to cook just fine. The deluxe cabins are a step up with a separate room for kids to sleep and better cooking options. Their small motel style rooms are fine for a night or two or if you're on a budget, but not the most comfortable. Water Park is open 7 days and kids will love it. These last school holidays the park put on a petting zoo, blocked off road areas for pavement drawing, had a tennis competition. If you're near the main road it can be noisy as Rocky locals seem to think it's a drag strip. We've also had instances of people jumping the fence trying to steal things. It was reported to park management and police and the park is installing new fencing, cameras, lighting and upgrading security on the cabins. Staff and management really do help a lot.

2 months agoStayed on a powered site. Dog was welcome, advised my mother had a disability, we were situated right across from the amenities, laundry room for the days we were there. Will definitely visit again, on our return trip. All the staff were welcoming, offering assistance when asked. Kids Water Park is the added bonus of those travelling with children.

a month agoI’ve been staying in Rocky frequently for the past four years and this is by far the best place in the city. Secure, well looked after, helpful staff, close to everything you need. My kids have had a ball with all the things for them to do here. I can’t say enough good things. Outstanding!!

3 months agoFantastic caravan park. Always clean. Pool is heated. Staff and very friendly, grounds keepers are very helpful. Firepit sites are a fantastic idea and we really enjoyed the space. The park backs onto a school. A bit of noise from sporting events from 4 till 6 but not overly obtrusive. Definitely recommend staying here!
