a week agoThe room was great size with very comfortable bed and couch. Light control and curtains was poor and the neighbouring cabin Light was on all night. They are noisy because of elevation and no floor insulation. A party to 2am disturbed us. The cabin wobbles/moves when people move around. The Riverview is really nice but there is no privacy as all neighbouring cabins look straight in. The 16 steps could be a challenge for some. The location is about 3.5 km out of town but it is a nice setting with good facilities and great walking track to town.

a week agoJust checked in today and we were going to extend our stay for another day or two BUT great spot, nice water views that we were happy to pay an extra $10 a nights for.. maybe it’s our bad luck, but backed our MH into our nice grassy site and walked straight into 2 lots of dog poo. Ok cleaned off shoes and set up camp,, then walked through 2 more lots to connect to water and powerthen unhitch tow vehicle and walked through 2more lots. Really is it that hard for dog owners to be responsible. Witnessed it whilst here tonight also. Just put a very sour note to our experience here.

a month agoBrilliant park! We just left and had the best time. There was so much to do and so many facilities you’d expect at a family park. We can’t wait to return.

2 months agoBooked the Ensuite powered site for 4 nights. Definitely planning to come back for another camping trip. The facilities are so far my favourite we’ve been to. My kids and the other camping kids would plan to meet up every morning at 8am, and wouldn’t come back til late at night when they’d end the night with a fun game of hide and seek before curfew. Definitely a highlight for our camping trip. I’d have to beg my kids to come eat for lunch, so they’d bring a new friend each day I can’t say enough great things about this place and the staff. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The cafe was a great feature for the days I didn’t want to cook breakfast. There’s a water playground 3 mins away which the kids also enjoyed on our day around the town (also 3 mins away). There’s also a walking trail to town and the shops, but it’s a good 3 min drive away. Great location.

4 months agoEverything about our stay was fantastic I just wish I had brought up my boat so I could shoot across the lake to town. The views of the river from the decking of the cabin were fantastic.
