2 months agoLiked this park a lot. Nice and quiet and we had a great shady site. Service was excellent from the staff. Impressed with shower!!!. Did a tour of the lava tubes which was arranged through the park. Recommend this to everyone.

4 months agoThis place is like an oasis, well kept grounds, clean room, shade trees all around. Very pleasant stay in one of the cabins whilst passing through. Good meal at the local pub and great brekkie at the Post Office Cafe.

2 months agoThis is our second stay here. Only because we get too tired riding from karumba, so convenient to sleep. The room was tidy but bathroom wasn't clean. Toilet paper still in toilet bowl, shower recess and hand basin could be scrubbed clean. As a cleaner in remote location I have regularly gotten an orange shower back to the white/cream colour it should be by using gumption and a green soft scourer. It isn't difficult. Mould on ceiling. Exhaust fan is blocked with grunge. Shower head is buggered. You get wetter outside the shower when turning shower on than you do under the shower. The shower head needs urgent replacing. Glad I didn't need to wash my hair and the guys don't have much hair to worry about either. We all think it's the worst shower we've ever used. The beds and pillows are nice and comfy.

3 months agoWe stayed in a Standard Studio cabin in early August 2024 for two nights. We used it as a base to visit Undara Lava Tubes and Talaroo Hot Springs. The cabin was quite comfortable for our needs. We enjoyed our stay in the park. It gets quite chilly at night (about 10 to 14 C), so a heater or reverse cycle A/C would have been appreciated.

5 months agoWe stayed in our rooftop tent and the space was very large and beautiful Shady spots all around the park, but the staff were noisy banging of bins and driving around on the buggy late at night through our site with the headlights straight into our tent. Not much respect for guests at all
