Great spot to stay with your camper if you’re looking to get into Melbourne city, it was all pretty straightforward with Uber and some nearby trains. Wanted to do a huge shout out to Ana on reception, what a legend!!!Super friendly and helpful when a glitch on the website meant we didn’t actually have a space booked. She really went above and beyond to get us sorted. The entire place looked like a perfect spot for families as well, in general everyone looked like they were having a grand old time and that’s likely due to the staff 🫶 In terms of improvement, we did notice that the cabin was really dusty by the lamps and on the side table. Some more thorough cleaning would be ideal, but it was a minor issue in the grand scheme.

The staff at check-in were friendly and polite and explained everything we needed to know. Gave us a map of the park and showed exactly where our cabin was and how to get there even though it was marked clearly on the map. Discovery Parks Melbourne was exceptionally clean with staff constantly cleaning and whenever you said hi they happily said hi back and asked how you were going. The place has all you need to keep kids entertained from an outdoor playground to recreation room with claw machines, car racing game and table tennis. The hit was the pool with the kids as they swam everyday and loved it. The cabin we stayed in was suited for the family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids) 2 sets of bunks in one room and a double bed in the other room. The beds were so comfy. There is a laundry there should you need to do your washing before heading home. Best place myself and family have stayed and will definitely be staying again in the future. We were only stopping over for a night (very early flight), so we only got a budget cabin. The cabin was a little run down, but it was clean, beds were comfortable, and the showers were hot. Great location and staff were friendly, so overall, it was a great place to stay.

Good family Park, swimming pool, communal games room, lounge, kitchen, laundry, and vending machines. Security. Some mobility friendly rooms available. Hotel across the road. Only issue was free wifi was terrible but it may have been down everywhere as it was windy. Anyway, I loved it and, will return and stay in either a cabin or maybe a tent next time.

The powered side as well as the location or connection to the city are very good. Unfortunately, the toilets, the sinks and especially the showers were very dirty. It wasn't cleaned all day (according to protocol), there were soap scraps everywhere, dead insects, hair and other remains. For the price we paid, that's not ok.
