Discovery Parks Kalgoorlie Goldfields

This is a fantastic place to stay. Best park in Kalgoorlie-Boulder. We love staying here. The ablutions, laundry and pool are very clean and tidy and the grounds are kept very clean. The camp kitchen is clean and the bbq plate which is always left dirty in other caravan parks. Having an enclosed camp kitchen for the summer would be a bonus especially for people in their swags/tents. The Managers we met were Viv and Andrew. They are very professional and look after their staff and customers well. All staff are amazing but one especially who is Mel. Always a smile on her face no matter how quiet or busy it gets in there. Always friendly and helpful and a pleasure to see. Compared to 12 months ago it has dramatically improved. A safe secure place to stay and close to everything

Great kids park at the back of the park. On arrival, staff were found to be a little disinterested, but the ground staff were very friendly and approachable Don't know if I'd rate the room as a deluxe cabin. The Swan Valley cabins are deluxe! There is no oven in the cabins, just a stove and microwave. There were staining on the Venetian blinds in the kitchen... I'm not sure if it was from previous cooking?!?!? Beds were somewhat comfortable. But no air-con in the single room. We. were all up at the crack of dawn most days due to having blinds, no curtains in the bedrooms. WiFi was deplorable! We were out and about most days, just wanted to kick back in the evenings a let the kids chill on their devices, but they couldn't. Appeared to be a safe location, place is well locked down after hours and pool appears clean. Laundry was accessible and plenty of line space for the size of the park.

Have stayed here in the past - with camper trailer - good trip back then. Booked a chalet for 2 nights recently for a family event (about 10 days out from event) Event was cancelled but wouldn't refund for the two nights as "you haven't given 14 days notice" - tried to explain that's not possible if I hadn't booked 14 days out! Staff initially quite rude. Received a refund on ONE night only and a credit for a night (supposedly useable at any G'day Park - thus far it's not) NOT HAPPY

Needing a stopover as travelling with dogs, stayed in old chalet, clean but rundown, mattresses need upgrading for a better night sleep. Park out the back was great to let dogs have a run before we got back on the road.

Mel's Great Customer Service and Park Knowledge Amongst serving customers at the counter and answering the constantly ringing phone, Mel was fantastic in patiently and diligently creating my booking so I received the promotional discount. Afterwards, she came to my site and explained reassuringly that my site was not really a multiple access site and the staff did not use it so I could use the full, large area. Mel's customer focus and dedication to her role was fantastic and a real pleasure to experience. Thank you very much, Mel. ( 5* as a great employee )
