We hope this reopens as it is a great place to stay with good service and obviously a wonderful location next to the Glen Helen Gorge with spectacular views.

We absolutely loved our stay here and were pleasantly surprised by our room! Pros: Great location Friendly staff Breakfast included (which was a delicious fry up!) Proximity to the gorge - make sure you get up for sunrise as the rock glows orange! Cons: Room had a draft due to a gap between the door and the frame (but warmed up well with the heater) No fuel Slightly limited meal choices with no vegetarian options Very expensive alcohol Overall: I would definitely stay here again. I feel with the introduction of a fuel pump and an expanded menu, this place will absolutely hit it out of the park!

Simple but functional and comfortable rooms in a stunning location. Highly recommend if you don't have camping gear but wanting to overnight somewhere near the Larapinta Trail We were disappointed with the buffet roast dinner that was on offer the night we were there - expensive and the food was not of the quality to reflect the amount we paid. We didn't have the option to order off the usual menu because of a larger tour group. On a more positive note though, they have a decent bar with Happy Hour offer in the late afternoon!

We enjoyed our camp and powered site here. The bathrooms were clean and well presented. There needs to be more some steps and defined paths installed to get you from one camp level to another. We loved the scenery, having a meal on the deck overlooking the river and gorge and watched the AFL preliminary final with lots of others enjoying the game and atmosphere. Our only concern was the aroma wafting over to our site from the sewerage treatment throughout the day and evening. Otherwise everything was great.

The worst campground we’ve ever been at. And we’ve been travelling for the past 4 months.. paid 62 dollars for unpowered “site” on gravel parking. The shower was clean, but there was no hot water! The staff started cleaning the toilets at 8am so we had to wait to use it. We called the reception prior to arriving to make sure they have fuel, but when asked for it at the reception we were told there is none and we should have taken the Jerrycan to make sure we have enough fuel for the trip. Honestly horrible service and experience. If you have an alternative, stay elsewhere.
