We stayed for 7 nights on an unpowered sites. The kids loved the jumping pillow and water park. The service was great by the staff, however the amenities could have been cleaned more regularly. On one occasion, there was a poo in a bucket next to the toilet. Not sure why on earth someone would do something like that. Staff were notified and cleaned it immediately. Overall, a great place for kids and big sites.

I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at Coolwaters Yeppoon. The park managers were unprofessional and unnecessarily aggressive. They approached us on the road outside our campsite, loudly proclaiming their authority as managers and displaying alarming aggression, with the male manager flaring his nostrils and raising his voice. Their dogs were barking and aggravating our Rottweiler, who was calmly lying on her belly, wanting to play and get pats. They falsely accused her of being aggressive, even though she showed zero signs of aggression. Just the day before, multiple kids from three different families ran up to us while I was walking her, asking to give her pats. She happily accepted the attention, responding with licks and affection. The managers also falsely claimed there had been previous reports of our dog being aggressive. If this were true, why didn’t they address it earlier? Instead, they escalated the situation in front of multiple onlookers along the entire length of campsites, many of whom witnessed the incident. To make matters worse, the male manager aggressively attempted to kick our dog, which was entirely uncalled for. As if that weren’t bad enough, they tried to charge us an additional $3,000, claiming they could change pricing whenever they wanted, despite the fact that we had paid for our sites well in advance. When we called to confirm the booking and payment, they insisted there was still an outstanding balance, which felt like a blatant money grab. The unprofessionalism, dishonesty, and outright aggression from the park managers made this an appalling experience. I would strongly recommend avoiding this park if you’re looking for a fair and peaceful stay.

We are on our 4th Christmas break at Coolwaters Yeppoon and once again our stay here has been nothing but awesome. The park is always presented well, and the staff and grounds people have been nothing but accommodating and pleasant to deal with. The park manager is extremely kind helpful bloke, with nothing being a issue. Tony even offered my 2 children, and their friends all free rides on the Go Karts on New years day. Absolute champion and it was very appreciated. We will be re booking here again as we love this place for our annual holiday. Great job Coolwaters Yeppoon.

Missing the most important aspect of accomodation- good sleep! So frustrating to pay $220 for a night of accommodation to have lights on all night outside which make it impossible to fall asleep and then sunlight shining in at 5am making it impossible to stay asleep. As a single mum traveling with 2 kids sleep is the most important thing as obviously have to drive and I am so beyond frustrated. It wouldn’t take much to invest in blackout curtains to avoid this problem. Without this inconvenience I would give it 4 stars as the facilities are nice and the kids loved the pool and water play area, but unfortunately after a bad nights sleep nothing else matters. The place needs a good deep clean as well, and the blind fell down completely (luckily avoiding our heads) when I pulled it down. Being so tired is unsafe and to call this deluxe is extremely misleading.

Initially had a lovely view of the lake from our site but the weekend brought in a lot more people. Facilities were very clean and tidy. Ideal place for families with plenty to entertain.
