in the last weekCoffin Bay is a lovely quiet little oyster town, after 9pm you can hear a pin drop. My rating is a little biased because of the dry conditions, dusty and windy most days which make it unpleasant. We have been here during winter and it was very green and no wind most days unlike summer. The van park has great amenities block, clean and pleasant showers and toilets, nice camp kitchen, laundry, and a rotunda / meeting area for social interaction. Do check out the golf / sports club and the yacht club and if you want a great deal on oysters take a drive around the oyster sheds and see if any one is working, a few shell direct from the lease at great prices.

2 months agoWhat a delightful space this is. The staff (all of them) were so professional while also friendly, welcoming and helpful. We only stayed one night but could have easily stayed a week. Price was great. Location handy to everything. Beautiful scenery and visits from the local kangaroos and emus made the space delightful. All amenities were in excellent condition and clean. Laundry prices were some of the best we have seen. Dogs are more than welcome on a leash. Only two minor things - it was a little bit complicated getting into our site as we had a big van and everyone around us was “in place” so manoeuvres were tight. Also, we were parked down by the road so we weren’t able to pick up wifi. But it was not an issue.

2 months agoSven and coworker helped enormously when we arrived without a booking. Managed to slot us into a water view powered site. Very friendly and Sven was so excited about showing us where the best things to see and do and eat at were located. Bathrooms and laundry were very clean at all times. . Highly recommend. Oh and rates were very reasonable.

a month agoWe had a family Christmas in two caravans and a swag. Plenty of room on our drive through sites and close to all attractions. The park had plenty of activities for the kids to join in as well as oysters and sausage sizzle with wine tasting on Boxing Day. Very clean amenities and the staff went above and beyond to make it a special experience.

2 months agoWow! I was really pleased to see how well kept the caravan park is maintained and cleaned. There was literally not one spot of dirt in the ladies bathrooms, all really well cleaned and looked after. Hubby said the mens were the same. The laundry has heaps of machines available and they even sell the liquid needed for washing. The staff accommodated a last minute booking for us (powered site) and were very welcoming upon arrival. Beautiful location and definitely would recommend. Thank you so much guys!
