Discovery Parks Bunbury Village

Lovely stay. Cabin was fantastic for they family - although a little TLC to the cabin wouldn't hurt - though this was cosmetic and didn't affect functionality. Some additional clothes airing spaces would have been helpful, one communal line wasn't great, perhaps some clotheslines installed to the back of cabins would help, especially for pool clothing. Use of pool was fantastic, BBQ facilities spotless, park and bounce pillow was good too. Staff always welcoming and friendly (although front reception were a little too 'direct'). Would definitely stay again tho!

Wasn't too impressed, the park was looking sorry for itself and the ensuites we stayed in regularly were flooding from blocked drains as well ad looking very tired. However we are one of the last official guests as it is apparently being turned into a workers camp/accommodation for the mines, so I can see why the care factor was not really there.

Had a great experience at this place. Staff were all friendly, your toilets and kitchens were well taken care of and clean. Loved meeting the locals at this village, definitely felt like home away from home. We will definitely be coming back again. I loved the fact how this holiday park had kids activities on site which helped when our kids let out their last bit of their energy for the day.

It was okay. It seems set up brilliantly for campers and caravans, but not for people in cabins. I think a $10 Kmart clothes airer would go a long way in the cabins though. There was nowhere to hang our wet towels and bathers. There are also no pegs near the clotheslines so for towels it's okay but for baby outfits it was impossible to hang anything we washed or that was wet. Also we hated that the sprinklers were on in the afternoon on the main lawn. It meant our kids couldn't play on the lawn in the afternoon as it was wet. Also as it was windy the sprinklers were blowing into our already impossible-to-dry laundry. The pool was nice. The place felt super empty though despite there being no cabins left to book online. There are a lot of permanent caravans and cabins there so we kind of felt like strangers in a tight knit community. All the people we met were lovely though. Would suit families with older kids as the room upstairs in the cabin has no door, so our 4 year old kept coming down and wanted to hang with us while we were watching tv.

I have been staying here for the last two months, and I am exhausted by their subpar food. There is absolutely no taste, and the presentation is lacking. Additionally, the accommodation leaves much to be desired. There are numerous insects and ants in the room, and it’s concerning that they are not adhering to work health and safety standards. I cannot in good conscience recommend this place to anyone. Unfortunately, I am unable to change my accommodation as it was arranged by my company.
