2 weeks agoWe stayed one night at Cobar Caravan Park, and it was a fantastic experience! The pet-friendly cabin we stayed in was spacious, super clean, and had everything we needed. The kitchen had plenty of utensils for cooking. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. What really stood out was how much the park cares about the environment. They offer Australian-made liquid soap, shampoo, and shower gel in refillable containers, reducing plastic waste – a thoughtful touch! The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend it!

a month agoGot a cabin for an overnight stay and to be honest, we didn’t expect too much. But the images changed as we drove up to the site, the area around the cabin was well maintained and looked inviting but the real shock came when we opened the door to the cabin. The cabin looked inviting, spacious, well laid out and even had a real fridge. After overcoming our initial surprise we were further impressed with the whisper quiet airconditioning (41 degrees day) and to top it all off, the refrigerator ( a two door model) had an ice cube maker in the freezer: With ICE CUBES in it , does it get any better? Just for closing: We were very impressed with the presentation of the caravan park and congratulate management on the fruits of their effort

a month agoVery nice park. Well set out. I used the disabled amenities. The very smooth floor tiles are quite dangerous for people like me on unsteady feet and walking sticks. There is a rubber mat at the shower. But the remainder area is slippery when wet.

in the last weekWhen it’s off peak season and you have 5 caravans in the park and you arrive earlier than the 12 check in time -( 10.30 am ) and they turn you away. So I asked the question why ? Because that’s our time to catch up on watering and cleaning, mmm no sprinklers for the 2 days we were there. yet and the toilets are closed from 10-11.30 . I’ve just seen some people turned away for being half an hour early. Come on !! This is crap service, you could book them in and let them set up as they’re not using anything in the half hour to set up thier caravan on site . If there was another caravan park in town I’d be using it. I’d get if it was peak time and the lawns were beautiful but they aren’t!

4 months agoGreat pet friendly caravan park just on the edge of town. Large level sites with slabs and individual driveways. Wide streets and easy to manoeuvre your van. Lots of shady trees. Very clean amenities, with blocks situated on each side of the park. Very green and grassy at the moment (early August 2014). Lots to see in Cobar and surrounds and definitely would recommend using this park as a base
