4 months agoThe location was good and the hostel common areas were nice. The private room was nice and clean. However, the shower areas were not very clean antes the bathrooms seemed to not have been cleaned regularly. Same with some kitchen equipment. We also were at the door at the check in time and no one replied on the booking webpage or opened the door either. The owner was nice after all either way.

3 months agoPrivate room is clean and comes with its own shower. The kitchen is practical but is outdated and doesn’t seem very clean. 25min walk from city center. If I were you I would stay away from this hostel unless you want to spend the night with cockroaches. We saw them in the kitchen, in the toilets and in our own room. Moreover, walls/doors are very thin and you can hear everything going on outside. We didn’t get to use the swimming pool as it was very small and didn’t look like it was recently cleaned.

2 months agoone of the nicest hostels ive stayed at within the cairns region, whent with a freind and stayed in a private room, the staff were super friendly and helpful, we came to go to the cairns show and we could see the fireworks better from the hostel then we did at the show. they do have a really friendly cat that hangs around within the common areas with for me is a majour plus. i plan to come back here in future rather then continuing to switch up where i stay at from now on
