a month agoGreat, centrally located establishment that meets all the needs of the traveler! Room was clean and easy to get settled in. Lockers in the room were large and fit all my belongings comfortably. The shared spaces were well looked after and kept clean by the other guests and the staff. Loved the organized outings that allowed travelers from all over to meet and hangout. Appreciated the easy check in and out procedures as well. Everything was straightforward and explained well. There was almost always someone available to answer questions or help with anything. Getting in and out of the building after reception hours was also very clear and easy. Thanks for a great stay!

2 months agoI stayed here last year on my trip to Australia. I came to Sydney on an overnight bus and upon arrival realize I had booked my room for the wrong night. The staff was kind of enough to rebook me to a room for the correct night at no extra cost. The kitchen and common areas were a little dated, but the rooms themselves were modern and fairly large. A lot of the people staying are long term residents so socializing was a little tricky, but if you need a nice central place to stay I’d recommend.

a month agoHere's the translation: Good location, but the price is definitely too high for what they offer. The rooms are smelly 🤮, and you can't open the windows, which means sleeping with six people in a stuffy environment without fresh air. The cleanliness is also lacking. For the price they charge, you would expect much more in terms of comfort and hygiene.

6 months agoI'm not sure why the average ratings are so high. The location is good and the showers are hot but that's about it. The shared dorms are old and dirty. The storage areas and placement of plugs aren't very intuitive so it's likely you won't get a plug near your bed to charge your phone. The lockers are old and noisy and you need to bring your own lock. You get very little amenities: no towel, no toiletries, no curtains on the beds for light/privacy (which is standard at most hostels I've a stayed at elsewhere). They don't wash the blankets for some reason? One of their suggestions written on the wall is to use the top and bottom sheet provided so you don't touch the skin on the blanket of the person who stayed prior, which is frankly disgusting because they should be washed as often as the sheets. I also saw small roaches in the bathroom and a big dead roach in the hallway. The shared kitchen is also quite dirty.
