3 months agoGreat, centrally located establishment that meets all the needs of the traveler! Room was clean and easy to get settled in. Lockers in the room were large and fit all my belongings comfortably. The shared spaces were well looked after and kept clean by the other guests and the staff. Loved the organized outings that allowed travelers from all over to meet and hangout. Appreciated the easy check in and out procedures as well. Everything was straightforward and explained well. There was almost always someone available to answer questions or help with anything. Getting in and out of the building after reception hours was also very clear and easy. Thanks for a great stay!

a month agoDisappointing stay. Great location, nice staff and friendly atmosphere but my room smelt like urine, the walls were revolting, hair in the bed and no flyscreens on the windows so bugs were flying in whilst I was trying to sleep. If you're super chill about things like this then stay but if you're looking for a budget room to rest your head in at least bit of comfort, this isn't the place for you, a least not room 302. Staff wrote back saying they take feedback seriously and didn't notice any issues when they inspected but at same time are happy for people to stay in a room like that. I wish I took photos :(

a month agoThe room is spacious but doesn't have a privacy curtain on the beds. bathroom was always clean. kitchen is a bit small. it's quite close to everything, but you'll have to walk for a bit to get to the nearest bus stop & trains.

2 months agoWe stayed in a private ensuite room, which was super basic but perfect for our needs and very clean. The location was also good and we were able to get to the city centre/touristic places super quickly using the tram system or walking. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Only recommendation would be in the bathroom to have extra shelving or surface space to place things! :)

a month agoI didn’t even get a chance to stay but I’m kind of glad it worked out that way based on my experience with Harry who was at reception. I had made my booking on booking.com and when I arrived at the hostel I was asked for my credit card details. I couldn’t access them as I lost my wallet the day before and on Apple wallet it only shows you the last four digits. Harry then proceeded to say I could not stay there. This would have been better received by me if he didn’t do the following. I asked him what was I supposed to do as I had already paid and didn’t have anywhere else to go and he said that he could let me in but “I’m the one who will get into shit but that’s fine because no one cares about me”. I told him he was being rude and unprofessional as he then talked to his co worker as if I weren’t there saying I was calling him rude etc. He then also commented on my personal financial situation which was completely unnecessary. I asked if I could talk to the manager and he resisted many times until he finally sent the manager a message. Over and over again he kept making rude comments to his co worker as if I weren’t there. I finally got a refund processed but by that time I wouldn’t have wanted to stay there anyway. A real shame as the person I dealt with at reception earlier in the day was super lovely. I can’t help but think the conversation would’ve gone much more smoothly if it were him I was dealing with.
