a week agoI recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience! The room was spotlessly clean, which made for a very comfortable stay. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help. Plus, there were so many activities for kids to enjoy, keeping them entertained throughout our visit. I highly recommend this hotel for families looking for a great getaway!

a month agoFriendly staff! Beautiful serenity! My kids loved the two pools! Very well maintained! They have a general store which is afforded for bits and pieces. Very highly recommended and we will definitely be coming back again!

3 weeks agoWe had a great stay at Ashmore Palms Holiday Village. It's a great place to stay with young kids and we took full use of the pool, playgrounds and birds. The kids activities were an added bonus! It was close enough to the beach and activities like sea world. Also a bonus was it is in walking distance to supermarket, cafes and restaurants so accessing food was easy.

a month agoMost of the reception staff were lovely, Miss Kellie was definitely a favourite with my children and her activities were fantastic. The clown on the weekend was also cool too! The room was well set out, very clean and had everything we needed. Our photo booth photos were also really cool!

in the last weekWe recently returned from our holiday, but unfortunately, our experience was not the best. When we arrived, the pool area was crowded with teenagers from a school group, so we couldn’t use it that day. The next evening, we tried going around 6 pm, but since the pools aren't heated, the water was too cold for a swim. While this place is great for families with younger kids (under 10), it doesn’t offer much for teenagers, as most of the activities are geared towards younger children. Another downside was the limited and slow Wi-Fi. We were only given 14 GB to use over seven days, which wasn’t nearly enough for the five of us. One particularly frustrating issue was getting coins to use the laundry facilities. I had to go all the way to an ANZ bank because the reception couldn’t assist with this. In New Zealand, most holiday parks help guests exchange coins or simply charge it to their account. When I suggested charging $10 to my credit card, the response was, “We’re not a bank!” Overall, I was very disappointed with the experience.
