This is the normal hostel and not the hotel. Service deserve to its’ accommodation fee. I don't like this hostel. There are 12 fire stove to use. I could cook everyday, sharing space with other lovely residents. Only defect of this hostel is hostel owner’s personality. She sometimes decide whether or not she will accept new residents into this hostel based on their nationality. If you don't have chance to know her personality, you can keep peace in your mind.

I stayed here for some weeks. I saw cockroach running in kitchen and toilet everyday. when sleeping they run and fly around the room in summer. I think toilet need to be fixed because water flow is very weak and thus I saw someone’s waste everyday.

For the price i have to give 5 stars. But yes it is still a hostel and yes it is old and dirty. However, i liked the common area, there is many sofas and tables. Kitchen looked good as well. The manager is lovely and caring and so were the guests. Very respectful and quiet, it is a small hostel and felt like a safe environment. Did not enjoy the dorm itself. It was packed with stuff from long term residents, hard to find a place to put my backpack. Couldnt find a power outlet. Mattress was bad, could feel every spring and the pillow seemed old and outworn. So, you get what you pay for. If you are on a tight budget i would still recommend

Staff was friendly but the place was filthy. Shared kitchen was so full of a mix of trash and various sauces that you couldn’t cook even if you wanted to. Place looked like it was falling apart, with paint chipping away and mold everywhere. Bathroom were disgusting, with showers with no drainage. Kind of “understandable” for the 22$ per night in a dorm, but for the single room we stayed in 80$ was way too much. Walls were not insulated at all so we woke up at all hours of the night because of people waking up and down the stairs. The good location is not worth all the safety and health hazards going on in that place. Would not recommend.

One of the worst maintained hostel I have stayed in one year of travel. The place is poorly kept, poor beds, poor cleaning and full of long term people staying who cant afford to pay the high rents. Not designed for the backpacker on short travel. Stay here at your own peril and if you really want to be cheap and live in filth.
