2 weeks agoBeautifully presented and maintained grounds! Our powered caravan site was perfect with awesome views. We had an issue with the water tap that was fixed immediately when we reported it. We originally booked 3 nights, and were easily able to have an extra night even though the place looked full up. Amenities are meticulously clean and there is alot to entertain kids and families. If I had to make a suggestion it would only be to add more washing machines and driers for the busy periods, but that is really nothing to complain about! I am even writing this review mid stay, we are very impressed with our whole experience!

3 months agoBest facilities of a caravan park i have seen, amazingly clean and well run. Location is great, a walkable distance to the main street and wonderful rolling green views. Park itself is well layed out, only issue is with its hills the kids found it a little hard to ride bikes (not the parks fault). Facilities are top notch, massive well equip camp kitchen (with heating), separate games rooms, clean and modern bathrooms, really solid attention to detail (benches in the kitchen had cushion toppers and high chairs were available).

4 months agoWhat a lovely park! Awesome camp kitchen; enclosed with heating. Good size sites, enough for our camper & kids swag on one site. Very clean, updated amenities including laundry. 2 ladies at front counter were beyond friendly when I had to change dates by a day. Our 2 night stay was perfect, we will be back.

a week agoNot cheap but nice location and park is well appointed. BE WARNED: There is a function centre onsite and the night we stayed in a powered caravan site, there was a very loud function. The site rules say no load noise after 10pm but the site manager seems to think that doesn't apply to the onsite conference centre! He just told us to take it up with management tomorrow, and i thought he was the night watchman? When you have many weary travellers who need a good nights sleep its not good have load booming dance music playing late at night. I think Discovery Parks Hahndorf needs to rethink which customers it is servicing? Do not stay here if you need a good nights rest before driving your family the next morning on busy SA roads!

2 months agoI attended a conference held here. Beautiful views. I did not stay on site so I cannot comment on the accommodation. But if the catering and function facilities are anything to go by the rooms must be top class.
