a month agoVery impressed by the park and facilities. We stayed in a safari tent while visiting for the weekend. Clean, well maintained. Also loved the fact the safari tent area was adult only which also had its own pool, jacuzzi, covered kitchen/BBQ area and fire pit. The park has all the boxes ticked with great facilities for both families and couples. Grounds and public areas were all clean and maintained. The park team were helpful, polite and friendly. Site was quite after dark. Only a 10 minute walk in to Tanunda via a secure back gate. A credit to the discovery park brand! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

2 months agoWe stayed lastnight in 1 of the pet friendly 4 person cabins and it was lovely. Extremely clean and the park is beautiful. The pool, water park and playground areas look like so much fun. Pity we couldn't stay longer. We will be definitely booking another trip for a few nights soon. Thank you for a lovely stay ❤️

5 months agoWe stayed 3 nights in a Glamping tent, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. So quiet and peaceful, and waking up to the birds in the trees was wonderful. The tent was so roomy, and the shower was magnificent. The best we've had in years of motel and cabin stays. The staff were so friendly and helpful, always with a smile!! We'll definitely stay again when the need arrives.

a week agoOverall a very clean CP. However, our experience was very disappointing. We were placed “up the back” in an overpacked area, and a very tight site to get into. The trees also made it literally impossible to drive our van out, which meant the only way to exit our site at the end of our stay was back my van out. Honestly, ridiculous! Had we have known all this, and that we’d be assigned a site right under the very noisy Barossa Valley Way, and on a very slopey site, we would have paid the extra dollars and stayed at the Big4 ten minutes on in Nurioopta. If you decide to stay at the Discovery Park Tanunda then ask to stay in the flat, clear, peaceful sites at the front, and not in the sites up the back near the permanents.

3 months agoGreat staff, great location, plenty of cafe's, eateries, pubs and wineries nearby. Also, great little gift shops to look in and buy locally made gifts, jams and sauces. The chocolate factory has sooo much to choose from!! Great local op shops too The cabins are fantastic. Very clean, with everything you want/need, the showers to die for!! Very reasonably priced as well. We had a pet friendly cabin, there's plenty of space to take the dogs for a walk. A very quiet location too. All in all, a great time was had, can't wait to come back!!
