2 weeks agoWhat a fabulous place to base yourself in at the Clare Valley. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Our site was quiet, and amenities were great and very clean. We stayed for a week and could have stayed longer. Lots of places to explore and some wineries in walking distance from the park 👍

a week agoOvernight stop as we are travelling through, powered site, 2 adults, November, booked by phone as online system said no powered sites available for a single night, some cited 2 night minimum, however there were certainly heaps of vacant sites evident when we got there. No dedicated turning lane when coming from the town side and checking in around 12 saw vans and motorhomes queued. The park itself is beautifully set in amongst gum trees with plenty of grassed area, sites were gravel and of a reasonable size. The drive through sites opposite us were all fairly large with good access. Amenities nearest us (site 25) had inexplicably low set toilets leaving me perplexed, no signage to advise, one had a support bar on the wall, the next cubicle had one at some stage. Certainly not a comfortable height. Showers were hot with plenty of pressure. Great staff in reception and it’s definitely worth staying when visiting in the area.

a month agoWe found the park to be very noisy with passing traffic.... cars, trucks and motorbikes... as it is right on the major road to and from Clare. We also thought there could've been another toilet and shower block for the use of campers on the other side of the creek where we were camped. It was great to be so close to the Riesling Trail for walking and cycling.

a month agoThe dishes had stains in them (like dried food?) and there was something in the bedrooms that gave me sever allergy. The rooms could use a good dusting. Will stay again, customer service is really good and friendly.
