Nestled in Whyalla on the Spencer Gulf, Whyalla Caravan Tourist Park is a beachside haven just four hours from Adelaide, South Australia. With over 300 sunny days a year, akin to northern Queensland, it’s an ideal spot for sun-lovers.
The park is conveniently located just five minutes from the main shopping center and offers a range of accommodations including cabins, cottages, units, single quarters, and both powered and unpowered sites, some of which are dog-friendly.
Amenities at the park include BBQ facilities, a laundry area, a camp kitchen, and a campfire where travelers can gather to relax and share stories. Additionally, the hosts are passionate recreational fishers who are happy to provide tips on the best fishing spots, charters, and other local tourist activities.

3 weeks agoGreat caravan park. The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The powered sites are spacious and the amenities were spotless. Both my wife and I loved this park. It is one of my favourite caravan parks. I would highly recommend it if you want somewhere in Whyalla.

a month agoAmazing staff, really helpful, beautifully presented park, so neat and tidy you can't fault it. Excellent sign posting, great for workers to stay, grey nomads and short work stays. This was my second visit to Whyalla and I highly recommend a 5 day stay, the beach is amazing, you can swim while watching the large container ships sail past. The foreshore is beautiful and green, public toilets clean, I can't believe I never came to visit before. If you have the time come and support the locals, they are friendly and love to chat. Truly a great experience. Well done Whyalla, kick out Gupta and get an Aussie steelmaker to make your home truly Australian again. Thank you for letting me stay in comfort.

a month agoA fabulous caravan park with the best amenities we have seen for a very long time! The laundry is amazing with 4 new machines and 2 dryers. The caravan sites are large and clean. We knew this park in the very old days and it bears no resemblance whatsoever to what it is today. It is so well maintained now it is restored and is an absolute credit to the lovely friendly new owners. Highly recommend this one to all!!
