5 months agoNice park to stay but a little dated. Reception staff need to make you feel a little more welcome as definitely no warmth felt on arrival or in any interactions. Amenities were very clean and above standard. Rest of park seemed old and dated. Needs to be 2 dump points as long way to walk if over the far side of park given size. Large spaces so did not feel cramped in but road level to sites in some places needs lowering given we observed some caravans had difficulty unhitching. Easy access to walkways and beach and local cafe. Permanents need to adhere to same speed limit as guests as our observations was that some use roads as race track. I almost got hit as one resident speed with a trailer in haste to get to wherever he was going. Lots of little bunnies, which was good to see wildlife and reasonably quiet. Overall good place to stay. Dog friendly which is a plus.

6 months agoCheck in and left out of hours. No issues with, everything went smoothly. Great location and easy to walk around Bay Area. Amenities older & smaller in some parts but clean and tidy. My powered site for van was large and backed onto the tennis courts (some early morning noise), camp kitchen large but possibly very busy in peak times. Camp kitchen next to tent area and can be quite noisy. Dog friendly, would stay again

6 months agoWe had a caravan site for 3 nights recently . Could not have been more pleasantly surprised ! Perfect location , quiet , well sized sites , spotlessly clean amenities. Easy book in - staff were friendly and efficient- and the resident rabbits added to the quirkiness Would not hesitate to recommend! Julie , with Robert Coker

6 months agoDuring our stay over Mother's Day, we encountered some serious issues that really put a damper on things. From black mold to a leaky toilet flooding the bathroom floor, broken front doors, and a shower curtain that was hung so high it practically turned the bathroom into a swimming pool after every shower, it was a mess. And to top it all off, my partner woke up with ringworm on day 3, to which we were told "oh well. we have no other complaints about it". The cherry on top was reading through the management's rude responses to negative reviews on Google. Instead of owning up to the problems, they get defensive and nasty. It's a shame that they'd rather argue than admit this place, or at least the chalet we stayed in, needs serious cleaning and fixing. edit: and if you would like to do research that's ringworm of the SCALP. ringworm on the body can show up much, much earlier but thanks again for your lack of accountability 👍

6 months agoI stayed in the park last year for few weeks. Their bed has fleas everywhere. When I first complained, the receptionist question me where is the flea coming from and refuse to change room. My legs got so bad. They only offered to change the bed sheet. I ring the place again. I believe the owner answered the phone this time and investigate on the bed. They admitted that they have fleas on the bed and eventually changed the room. However, half a year later I still have all the scaring from the fleas bite last year. I am super upset regard the scaring. So I just want to let every know that this happen and try to not book in to this place.
