3 months agoAbsolutely THE BEST bolthole, quiet, clean and very friendly staff, comfortable, warm and safe. The best was availability of parking, right outside the door. We had a delightful stay over and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this park to friends and family. Quick bookings good directions to find the park and all amenities available. We will be back! Thank you Vaughan and fellow staff members

a month agoI deleted my previous review as the respondent from Discovery Parks said I'm a long term park resident at the park. I'm definitely not. I'm a visitor. I have never lived there. I have called the park reception 5 or 6 times and left a message for a manager to call me back. I was told only they can help with my query. I was assured they were busy and would call back .... they never did. I also was told to email the park. Which I did. I rang to check they had my email. They did and said they had forwarded it to the manager. Again no response. I have also visited reception a couple of times, only to be told the managers were busy and to leave my details, which I did. Again no response. This has been going on since early August. Shocking service and lack of response.

2 months agoAfter a pretty stressful three hour drive on a dreadfully windy, wet day; it was a relief to finally arrive at the Swan Valley Discovery Park in Caversham. The ground and reception staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful; providing me with a well labelled Swan Valley Handy Guide, which included all the information/ details I needed for my stay. My accommodation, a self-contained little cabin, complete with a balustraded verandah and adjacent parking slab, did not disappoint. It was compact, cosy, comfortable, meticulously clean and very well appointed with everything to make my stay pleasurable. Worthy of mention was the bed. It was sheer luxury and comfort plus! I enjoyed my stay in a safe, secure and well-appointed park, close to the many facilities and attractions available in the Swan Valley.

a month agoWe stayed with friends and found the staff not very accommodating. We were unable to camp next to each other despite requesting it several times by email and phone calls prior to our stay. Staff stated this was due to no grass powered sites available that were large enough to fit the camper trailer. There was a vacant site next to us larger then the one allocated to them. The one allocated couldn't fit their anex but the vacant powered grass site next to us would easily fit the camper and anex. This made a challenging stay with 3 kids under 2 between us and having 2 sites allocated either side of the park for no reason at all and no anex to use. The facilities were great and the kids loved the playgrounds. If you like a quiet night I wouldn't recommend staying here. Although everyone was quiet and respectful, all night there is planes taking off close by, trains with horns blaring and multiple sirens. We'll stick to camping at open farms in the future!

4 weeks agoPerfect location in the Swan Valley, surrounded by wineries & distilleries, yet only 30 minutes into Perth CBD. The staff are exceptional (particular thankyou to Vaughan & Amanda !) and facilities are clean, neat & tidy. New Managers are giving this park a facelift and we would absolutely stay here again.
