Discovery Parks Argylla

Staff were lovely. Not knowing if we would make it in time before the office closed, we were given instructions on how to check in on arrival if it were after hours. We made it with 15 minutes to spare. Beautiful clean, well stocked rooms, comfy bed & pillows. Fenced for keeping my dog in my cabin area. Easy parking. Close to shops without being right in town. Quiet for being on the highway. Will definitely be back. Thank you Michelle & staff for a wonderful stay.

Fantastic caravan park. We stayed 4 nights. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Looks like they are doing all they can to improve everything. Amenities were clean, laundry great value. Road noise minimal which was great considering near highway into Mt Isa. Well done.

We stayed for two nights on a powered site and had an exceptional experience from the moment we arrived. An excellent park just before you hit the town centre of Mount Isa..would definitely visit again especially with membership discount pay for three nights & get the fourth free ..Excellent customer service as we hadn't booked. Being a member helped. felt safe . picturesque gorge backdrop especially upon sunset..very clean facilities & the amenities were exceptional. Highly recommend visiting this wonderful haven when in Mt Isa.

Not saying it was bad but..... $45/ night is average, but then hiking prices up to $70/ night for the rodeo is Robbery (sounds like something the airline's do on school holidays). Toilets were very basic, the pool was freezing due to a badly positioned shade sail( advise removing in winter). Shower/ toilet setup was ex-mining units. The spaces between pitches was embarrassing. Safety was worrying. We were texted each night to lock up everything. Maybe a perimeter fence would help there! Wifi at the bottom of the camp is also non-existent. Yes, we wouldn't be returning. If you do stay, enjoy the sardine environment
