These guys make their own rules. Ask you to make the booking 60 days in advance and when you do they cancel at the last minute. One cannot make travel plans with this place as they can cancel on you at any time and leave one high and dry. AVOID!!!

Samantha and Jojo the cockatoo were great. Rooms, clean and comfy. The scenery is near perfect. Not my first time here, and I will be going back again. To good not to.

Lovely place and facilities but the amount of smoke bellowing out of the joint is a bit excessive. Campfires are encouraged with wood sold and fire pits provided, but the result is 10 bonfires in the space of quite a small area. Had to escape the tent a couple times because the amount of smoke pouring in was bordering on dangerous and we considered sleeping the car, not to mention all our clothes and camping gear wreaked. Quite a few inconsiderate campers also left their fires going after retreating to their caravans, this was the most frustrating part - at the very least there should be a patrol to ensure all fires are out by a certain time so that tent goers don't have to breath it in until sunrise. Was quite disappointing as we were looking forward to some fresh rainforest air, only to breathe in more carbon monoxide than we would in a lifetime. At one stage the place was like a scene out of mad max, which was quite bemusing in a rainforest setting. If you're a caravaner, the place is great and you can walk straight out in the morning and toast your hands on the previous evenings smouldering coals. If you're in a tent, you're in for a ride.

Rented out the place for a weekend and took a bunch of mates down and we had a blast. Easily the best trip away we've had in ages. Will be back again for sure
