2 months agoWhat do I need when I pitch my tent at a powered site in a caravan park?...a bit of peace and quiet at night and hot shower in the morning. Pretty much got all that here. I was in town for two days and arrived to a friendly welcome. I was up near the back gate, which gave me a very short walk to the Albion Hotel for both my night's dinners. There was a band playing there on Saturday night, but I was too tired to let them keep me up. I usually take photos, but I forgot to this time. It's not a big CVP, but it's neat and tidy...and I liked it!

2 months agoAmenities are clean, but small and old. With only 2 showers and 2 toilets for men (maybe more for ladies), it seems ill equipped for its caravan and tent capacity. I am mystified why caravans with ensuites are placed closer to amenities whilst those without are placed away from them, when they need them the most. Surely this must become a question worth asking for new arrivals from management. Otherwise a pleasant stay close to town.

a month agoWell maintained park with very clean amenities. We stayed in our swags on very level ground with all we needed close by. The park manager provided a very warm and friendly welcome on our arrival at 5.55pm. We will definitely return.

a month agoGood price for an unpowered site and a quaint nice location. Facilities where neat and clean but only limited toilets and showers. Would also recommend getting a kettle for the camp kitchen. Great service and friendly people. You also get a little discount card to get member pricing at the RSL (highly recommend) for staying here. If you are in town support these guys!
