4 months agoA two day trip to Nyngan to visit my father. I travelled with my two adult daughters and my grandson. I booked the Riverside Tourist Park because it had family accommodation. I didn't know what to expect, however, the cabin was large with two bedrooms. We had everything we needed to make meals and a dining table. The water from the tap was not drinkable but there was a water filter (it dribbled) that was welcome. The cabin was very clean except attention needs to be paid to the bathroom corrugated walls that needed attention. Overall, we were comfortable and pleased with the accommodation. There was a front porch where you could sit and watch the sunrise and pelican formations flying over the river. I would imagine that a summer vacation in this Park would be great fun. The facilities, from what I could tell, were good. I appreciated the inclusion of milk in the refrigerator and salt & pepper. I would advise bringing large bottles of water for making tea and coffee. I have no hesitation in recommending Nygan Riverside Tourist Park to anyone traveling to Nyngan.

4 months agoGreat location right on the river. Loved how kid-friendly the place was, with playgrounds and lots of grass to let kids runs around and explore. Room was clean and beds were comfy.

a month agoSpent 1 night. Great park. Friendly staff on arrival. Flat sites. Power and water. Next to the river. Amenities are modern. Plenty of grass.

3 months agoReview for unpowered campers. Plenty of grass. Was a little soft underneath so must been a bit of rain prior to my arrival. Toilet and showers great. Camp kitchens uninviting but have everything you need. All located on edges of park and not together. So if you are in eating and need a toilet (ie as kids always do) you'll need to trek a little. $33 for 1A unpowered is pretty expensive. Overall though a nice park.

3 months agoGood park for camping. Camp kitchen is a good size but not very well appointed. New main amenities block is great. Price for unpowered campsite on average at $30 p/n
