nice little camping ground, just by the boulders trail, toilets and showers, non drinking water. gets very busy at night, so better be there early. there is an area where you can swim in the creek, but be careful, it can be very dangerous outside the designated area, very strong flowing water and slippery rocks. We were told that a cassowary comes regularly to pay a visit to the campground, but we only saw bush turkeys

We were very unlucky and arrived at a time when March flies were out in force. We didn't know much about them but we sure do now......long story short we were driven out of there. If you arrive late and leave early you'll be okay as they're only out during the day. Men's shower has lost it's head so is merely a trickle, no cooking facilities. Great location.

Small camp area with clean toilets/shower and picnic area a short walk from the Babinda Boulders which has a playground near the car park area. Be prepared to be woken up by a cheeky roaming rooster in the morning! No pets or open fires allowed.

Great little site but you need to get there early as spaces fill up quick. Cold showers and toilets available. Short walk to the boulders for a swim too. Would stay again!

The free camping is nice and clean. The Babinda boulders near are fantastic, the walking track is very long but it does worth it. If the weather is fine, you can also have a swim in the river. The water is cold and during the summer you can cool and relax.
